King O'Malley was a colourful and at times controversial politician in the period following Federation. He was a significant figure in the initiative to create a national bank with central banking responsibilities.
Our publication, Notable Australians, presents the biographies of all of the identities who have been represented on Australia's banknotes from 1923 to the present day.
